so I was just lying on the sofa the other day watching a Filipino made 3D movie which was titled "RPG Metanoia. I gotta say that i was impressed even though there were times I was just staring blankly at the tv and just turned my attention on reading an excellent book, Dan Brown's Inferno when a thought just struck me, in the book they have mentioned about the black death, the plague that ravaged Europe centuries ago where a lot of people died. Inspired by the movie I was watching and the book that i was reading, my nerdy childish me imagined a world where a deadly plague threatened the world and humans fighting for survival against this plague. but this wasn't an ordinary plague, this was a swarm of creatures devouring any living thing that they come across. Trees rot, animals died and the waters becoming contaminated wherever this black swarm goes. so i went to my PC, prepared my tablet even though it was really acting weird and wasn't working well for some reason BUT it didn't stop me from drawing!
so... I still ended up getting frustrated with it so I just lazily doodled all the way. lols. and this was the result. The idea of the creature's appearance came from this famous costume called the "Plague Doctor", used by well obviously, by doctors during the plague (google it, it's quite creepy IMO). I was trying to think of another name but the name from one of Resident Evil's famous creatures really fit the theme. LAS PLAGAS which means "The Plagues".
